Accessibility statement.
Our commitment to making Setara Logistics usable for everyone, in line with AODA and WCAG 2.1.
Effective: January 1, 2026. Last updated: May 23, 2026.
1. Our commitment
Setara Logistics Inc. ("Setara") is committed to providing goods, services, and information in a manner that is accessible to people with disabilities, and that respects their dignity, independence, integration, and equal opportunity. We comply with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA), the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation (Ontario Regulation 191/11), and the Ontario Human Rights Code. We aim to meet or exceed Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA on our public-facing digital properties.
2. Statement of organisational commitment
Setara is committed to:
- Providing services in a way that respects the dignity and independence of people with disabilities;
- Giving people with disabilities the same opportunity to access our services and to benefit from them in the same place and in a similar way as other customers;
- Communicating with people with disabilities in ways that take into account their disability;
- Reviewing and updating our accessibility policies, plans, and training as our business and the law evolve.
3. Multi-year accessibility plan
Setara maintains a multi-year accessibility plan that outlines our strategy to identify, prevent, and remove barriers and to meet our obligations under the AODA. The plan is reviewed at least every five years and updated as needed. A summary of the current plan is available on request.
4. Customer service standard
We provide our services in a way that respects the dignity and independence of people with disabilities. We do not require people to use a specific method of communication. We accept enquiries and feedback in person, by phone, by email, by post, or through our website.
Assistive devices. People with disabilities are welcome to use their personal assistive devices when accessing our services.
Service animals and support persons. Service animals and support persons accompanying a person with a disability are welcome on parts of our premises that are open to the public, in accordance with applicable law.
Notice of temporary disruptions. If a facility or service that people with disabilities usually use to access our services is temporarily disrupted, we will post notice of the disruption, including the reason, anticipated duration, and any alternatives available.
5. Digital accessibility
Our website is designed to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Measures we apply include:
- Semantic HTML structure with meaningful page titles, headings, and landmarks;
- Text alternatives for non-decorative images;
- Colour contrast at or above WCAG 2.1 AA minimums;
- Keyboard-operable navigation and visible focus indicators;
- Forms with associated labels, error identification, and instructions;
- No reliance on colour alone to convey meaning;
- Tap targets sized for touch and motor accessibility;
- Testing with keyboard-only navigation and with the VoiceOver and NVDA screen readers.
6. Known limitations
We are continuously improving accessibility and are aware of the following limitations:
- Some legacy PDF documents are not yet fully tagged for screen readers. We will provide an accessible alternative on request, free of charge;
- Some embedded third-party tools (for example, live chat and video) may not be fully accessible. Direct contact alternatives are listed in Section 8.
7. Alternative formats and communication supports
On request, we will provide or arrange for any of our documents in an accessible format and any communication supports, in a timely manner that takes into account the person's accessibility needs, at no cost beyond the regular price (if any) for the document. Available formats include large print, accessible electronic format (HTML or tagged PDF), audio, and, where reasonably available, braille. To request an alternative format, contact us using the details in Section 8.
8. Feedback
We welcome feedback on the accessibility of our website, services, and premises. If you encounter a barrier or have suggestions for improvement, please let us know. We aim to acknowledge feedback within 2 business days and to respond substantively within 7 business days.

- Mail: Accessibility Coordinator, Setara Logistics Inc.
- Web: contact us through our website
Feedback received is reviewed by our Accessibility Coordinator. We will respond in the format in which the feedback was received, unless an alternative format is requested.
9. Training
Setara provides accessibility training to all employees, volunteers, and others who deal with the public on our behalf or who participate in the development of our policies. Training covers the requirements of the AODA's accessibility standards, the Ontario Human Rights Code as it pertains to people with disabilities, how to interact and communicate with people with various disabilities, how to use assistive devices that may be available, what to do if a person with a disability is having difficulty accessing our services, and our accessibility policies. Training is provided to new staff as part of onboarding and refreshed as our policies and practices are updated.
10. Employment
Setara is committed to fair and accessible employment practices. We notify employees and the public about the availability of accommodation for applicants with disabilities in our recruitment process, consult with employees who request accommodation, and develop individual accommodation plans and return-to-work processes for employees who require them, all in accordance with the AODA's employment standard.
11. Procurement and self-service kiosks
When purchasing or acquiring goods, services, or facilities, we have regard for accessibility for people with disabilities. We do not currently operate self-service kiosks; if we deploy any in future, they will be designed with accessibility features in accordance with the AODA.
12. Updates to this statement
This statement is reviewed annually and updated as our practices and the law evolve. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the current version.
