EXW puts everything on you the buyer. Best when you're routing through your own forwarder.
FCA is the modern "FOB for containers". Most common for FCL/LCL ocean from Asia.
CIF is when the seller arranges and insures the ocean leg to your port.
DDP is door-to-door, duty included. The seller does everything. Highest seller risk, simplest for buyer.
